Influenced by biological forms found in human and cellular anatomy, Isaac's work makes visible the often unseen processes and shapes found in nature. His approach to art-making is holistic and includes his experience and understanding of the practice of medicine.
"A growth journey is never linear. I often examine my efforts and wonder if I'm putting in enough work in all aspects of life. I often yearn for clear-cut answers or predictable outcomes. As an artist, the studio has become a place for me to navigate uncertainty and enjoy my journey. It's often the tangible that gives us meaning, comfort, direction, while the intangible, like assumptions, mislead."
Born in Jordan, Isaac is a recent graduate of Missouri Southern State University. He started his medical training to become a physician at Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine starting in July 2023. His studio and home are in Bella Vista, Arkansas.
